Jordan Davis serves as the ministry assistant at Organ Lutheran Church. He has worked in various ministries for the past ten years and has been serving at Organ since October 2017.
Jordan is a native of Scranton, Pennsylvania and attended Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana. He met his wife Lisa at Anderson where they both studied Christian Ministries. They were married in 2012 and lived for time in Fountain Hills, Arizona, where Lisa served as the Children and Family Ministry Director at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. They moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where Lisa studied Old Testament history at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. In 2015, their daughter Kaia was born. A few months later, they moved to North Carolina where Jordan began his master’s studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary – Charlotte.
Jordan graduated from Anderson University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Ministries, Bible and Religion, and History. He is currently working toward his Master of Divinity degree in the House of Lutheran Studies at Gordon-Conwell – Charlotte. He is passionate about Disciple-Making and Christian Education, and enjoys teaching on Christian History, Theology, Christian Mission and the context and reliability of Scripture.
